Ingredients

  • 12 large pretzel rods
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or white candy melts
  • 1 tsp coconut oil optional, for smoother melting
  • ¼ cup red white, and blue sprinkles
  • Red and blue candy melts optional, for drizzle

Method

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until melted and smooth.
  2. Hold each pretzel rod by one end and dip the top half into the melted chocolate. Gently tap off the excess.
  3. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the pretzel with patriotic sprinkles. Optional: drizzle red and blue candy melts over the top for extra flair.
  4. Place dipped rods on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Let them sit at room temperature for 15–20 minutes, or pop them in the fridge for faster setting.
  5. Once set, serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

Recipe Notes & Tips

  • No coconut oil? Just melt the white chocolate slowly and stir often—it’ll still work.
  • Candy melts vs. chips: Candy melts set faster and are easier for drizzle designs.
  • Let kids help! This is a great project for little hands—just set out bowls of sprinkles and let them go wild.
  • Package for gifts: Wrap each rod in cellophane bags and tie with a red or blue ribbon for party favors.
