Ingredients
  

For the Pork Chops:

  • 4 bone-in pork chops about 1-inch thick
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 pinches of salt adjust to taste

For the Glaze:

  • 4 tbsp brown sugar 1 tbsp per chop

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, mix smoked paprika, garlic, black pepper, and salt. Rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the pork chops.
  • Heat a large skillet (cast iron works best) over medium-high heat.
  • Add the pork chops and sear for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  • Sprinkle 1 tbsp brown sugar on top of each chop.
  • Flip and sear the other side for 1–2 minutes until the sugar melts and caramelizes.
  • Transfer the chops to a lined baking sheet.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  • Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Optional: Drizzle with pan juices for extra flavor!
